Ryuji Takeuchi – One’s Sentiment Review

Ryuji Takeuchi's latest release on Instruments Of Discipline titled ‘One’s Sentiment’ depicts a plethora of emotions conveyed through a collection of cacophonous sounds.

The narrative starts with ‘Ambivalence’ a hypnotic and gripping piece with nightmare inducing synths and punchy rhythms. 'Sadness' captivates you with pulsating frequencies invading your vessels and leaves you with indiscriminate thoughts.

‘Sorrow’ starts off with a broken beat intro that resembles gabber pounding it's way through static components and as the track develops it leaves you anticipating Takeuchi's next move. The final track ‘Regret’ is different from the other tracks, a lot more somber and ambient. Its sonic soundscape resonates your very core leaving a melancholic after taste. This track is just as compelling as the rest and is the perfect ending to this provocative EP,

You can listen and order the EP here which is out on the 2nd of April.
