Dax J sentenced to one year in prison

Dax J sparked outrage in Tunisia over playing a sample from a muslim player in a track he played at Orbit festival on friday. Since the ordeal Dax has received death threats and removed all his social network accounts. He has since be sentenced in court in Tunisia.

The communal court of Hammamet delivered its verdict. Dax was absent in the trial and was sentenced to six months in prison for public indecency, and six months for harming good morals and public morality. However the European Court of Human Rights is not usually in favour of the court proceedings due to unfair trial without defence. The case is to be continued.

UPDATE: Dax J's facebook profile is back online and he will not be playing his set tonight in Lyon. The announcement was made in the event page on facebook.
