5 facts about the Dax J incident at Orbit Festival

Some information has been misconstrued by the media. We have compiled some facts that we know about the incident that occurred on friday in Tunisia.

1) A similar sample that Dax played can also be heard in Kerridge's 'Black Sun'. It is not the same track.

2) The club is closed most of the year and only opens for festivals and events during the summer.

3) The festival continued until the end. Dax didn't bring the festival to a halt after the track was played.

4) The incident started to gain recognition after a conservative Tunisian newspaper thrusted to the story to the spotlight and then the backlash occurred.

Dax has now removed all his social media accounts due to the death threats received to him and his family by the muslim community in Tunisia.
